I just received my PhD at the Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard. My thesis work covers a number of areas in epigenetics. Specifically, I look at the evolution of CpG islands in mammalian species, non-coding RNA regulation of the HOX clusters, and epigenetic markers of kidney stem cells and Wilms tumor. I am now attending Harvard Medical School working towards an MD.
In addition to my genomics work, I teach at the Harvard Idea Translation Lab, and I am working to develop a microbial fuel cell for rural homes in Africa.
